In the summer of 2025, specialists from UAB Renew Engineering calculated, assembled, and installed a 15 kW solar power station complete with a ~15 kWh energy storage and management system based on HUAWEI solutions and equipment in my home. A nice bonus was that the equipment package included two-stage DC circuit protection combined with surge protection, which other companies usually ignore.
Due to the nature of my work, I am involved with cutting-edge IT technologies, and in order to increase the energy independence of my own home, I selected reliable professional equipment from a well-known global brand, as well as a company that could provide a high level of understanding of technical issues, quality of work, and service. I like that the equipment operates automatically without human intervention, and the system is controlled by a modern AI-based EMMA system.
During the time we have been using the solar station in combination with the energy storage system, there have been several power outages in our area, but this has not affected the operation of the engineering systems and equipment in the house. The switch to the backup power source is smooth and unnoticeable, even for sensitive computer equipment.
